We need an experienced Web Designer to join our Creative Department. They will develop projects from their initial concept to final publication with optimized graphics and HTML/CSS or Photoshop files. This person must be detail oriented, organized, be a clear communicator, and must stay current with best practices and web. Our Creative Team operates at a fast pace creating a mix of web design, monthly Email campaigns and banners using InDesign.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of various web projects
Maintain and improve existing websites
Joint SEO development (working with SEO Specialist)
Browser/UX testing
CMS Administration
Nice to have:
Knowledge of ActionScript, Javascript, AJAX, Visual Studio, Silverlight, and XSL (style sheets for SharePoint)
SQL Server knowledge including administration, SQL language, query tool and stored procedures
Visual Studio 2010 and higher
Skill Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
3-5 years experience designing for the web
Degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design or Multi-Media Design
Experience with Photoshop & Illustrator
Understanding of HTML/HTML5/CSS/Javascript (front-end skills)
.NET programming (backend skills)
Experience working with CMS
Compensation:
