We are a FULL SERVICE staffing company with a leading
Cleveland Stamping Company
that is looking for the best Punch Press Die Setter in Cleveland.
The position includes:
Setup, troubleshoot and run metal stamping manual & automatic presses using single, compound, draw, or progressive dies.
Must be able to work with die & press protection control systems, setup material in presses using roll, air & pneumatic feeds, set safety devices on presses & peripheral equipment.
Must be familiar with first and last piece checks using BP, (SPC charting).
Will inspect parts according to written guidelines & record information to SPC requirements.
Inspection both visually or with gauges to verify specifications or to detect fabrication defects.
Some machine maintenance and/or simple die repairs desired.
The hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
The location is in Cleveland - easy I-90 access.
The pay range is $13 - $15 per hour depending on experience.

Familiar with compound, single hit, progressive, trim, & draw dies; both manual & automatic presses; knowledge of die & press protection control systems, safety devices; roll, air & pneumatic feeds, use variety of measuring instruments, SPC, BP reading. Candidate with some cosmetic stamping background preferred, but in lieu of must have good close vision to detect cosmetic flaws.
Drug Testing and Background Checks will be performed.
