Waypoint is seeking an Associate to join our Investor Relations team. The IR Associate will be responsible for performing due diligence on financing projects for our real estate investment funds, which acquire, lease, operate, and dispose of residential real estate properties.

  • Production of presentation materials and reports
  • Coordinating transactions with regard to Waypoint’s corporate structure and related entities
  • Coordination of investor events
  • Maintenance of investor relations and corporate development records
  • Manage investment-related records including online investor relations portal
  • Improve investor relations and corporate development department accounting, record-keeping, information communications systems, policies and procedures
  • Job duties may change as company grows
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in investor relations and communications
  • Financial analysis background preferred
  • Track record of successful project management
  • Proven ability to complete market research, analyze data and produce presentations that clearly communicate meaning to professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven capability using technology to enhance presentation format and content
  • Strong information technology capabilities; proficiency with record keeping and data analysis is required
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
  • Ability to exercise discretion in connection with processing sensitive information
  • Great team player
  • Organized, self-starter who consistently meets deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Learn and adapt quickly
