Individual will maintain all aspects of the office's networked environment including workstations, servers, and telephone system. Is responsible for the overall effectiveness of all IT assets including hardware and software and will take appropriate actions when required.

Establish new user accounts, suspend accounts, and manage logical workgroups and networked resources and data.

Responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and usage of all networked assets that link numerous field office staff back to the corporate networked backbone.

Maintains accurate inventories of all hardware and software assets.

Maintains network security; ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.

Assists with monitoring network performance, maintains fault-tolerant systems and manages system backups.

Provides technical support and training to end-users.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications.

Evaluates new hardware and software to determine which products best meet organization/customer needs.

Participates in special projects as required.

Assist in obtaining new work for the Bath office, in areas of expertise.

An added value would be to be able to assist the Office Division Manager in tracking project cost to plan.


Individual must have strong communication and organization skills.

Bachelor¿s degree in related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of directly related experience. Professional certification(s) may be required.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 7 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data

COMPTIA A+, COMPTIA Network+, or MCSE Professional certification(s) is required. COMPTIA Security+ or CISSP a plus.

Strong understanding with the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and support. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite of applications, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat.

Knowledge of desktop operating systems, server operating systems, data storage and recovery software and strategies, and the client-server model.

Past experience and skills in business finance project management and associated software applications a plus.

A security clearance of an appropriate level may be required after employment.
