The University of Kentucky Clinical Voice Center, Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Health Sciences is seeking an experienced voice clinician to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathology position. This position will provide diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of voice disorders for an outpatient Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery population in an exciting and busy state-of-the-art Voice Center. This is an exciting opportunity to work clinically on a multidisciplinary collaborative team that includes multi-specialty physicians and speech-language pathologists. Experience in diagnostic techniques including stroboscopy, acoustics, aerodynamics, perceptual voice assessments, and flexible endoscopy is required. Desired clinical skills also include assessment and treatment for vocal cord dysfunction, dysphagia, voice disturbance due to Parkinson's disease, and nasality. Treatment experience with professional voice users and head and neck cancer populations is also desired. The successful applicant must be eligible for Kentucky State licensure and be ASHA certified (CCCSLP). This is a wonderful clinical position in a rapidly growing voice center, in an environment that provides a good balance of support and autonomy.
