A General Manager is accountable for creating and executing a business strategy. Key responsibilities include the successful growth of business and attainment of business goals.
Drives ongoing strategist for the business; supporting an aggressive revenue model and growth plan.
Owns multiple business models
Implements business plans to achieve agreed targets
Works closely with functional and operational segments to ensure business initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy for growth and development plans.
Responsible for corporate forecasting, budgeting, and recommendations of capital requirements.
Monitors, analyzes, and reports on objectives and results through the year.
Builds relationships with potential clietns and works with the sales team to gain new contracts.
Oversees the development and evalution of new business ventures and strengthens opportunities.
Drives proposals and deals at the market level.
Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Cerner solutions and services.
Performs other responsbilities as needed.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare related field
Executive / Business acumen
Proven history of delivering results and growing business
Ability to navigate complex organizations effectively
Adept business and relationship building skills
Understanding of sales and marketing processes and approach
Full P&L experience in similar industry
Excellent planning, prioritization, and execution skills
Strong communication skills with proven ability to negotiate and influence
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to lead the strategic planning and budgeting processes as well as on-going business reviews and forecasting
Expert knowledge of operational financial statements and performance measures
Located in Kansas City metropolitan area
Demonstrated results in managing a team
Advanced degree preferred (MBA and MHA)
5-7 years of experience in healthcare information technology preferred
