Manage the coordination of department funded/sponsored medical exhibits and MJN supported Medical Education Grants to ensure the department’s objectives are met, and to promote the image of Mead Johnson Nutrition within the health-care professional community. Support database administration.
Serves as Mead Johnson’s primary point of contact internally and with key professional associations to reserve space, make payments and support the internal medical and legal approval process for exhibit materials.
Provides direction to and coordinates all activities of exhibits based upon goals of each meeting.
Works with Mead Johnson’s marketing team to ensure most up to date marketing materials and visuals are displayed at exhibit and Mead Johnson’s sales organization to identify medical sales force coverage at each event.
Provides support to Medical Sales Field for exhibit display requests for local regional meetings.
Assists Associate Director in tracking US medical exhibit budget, progression against plan, and surfaces issues and opportunities as appropriate.
Coordinates the MJN Independent Medical Education Grants programs. Review incoming grant request for compliance, coordinate grant review meetings, and process all necessary documentation.
Process and manage all SAP activities including vendor set up, payments all purchase orders, check requests and invoice tracking for team that includes payments related to Medical Exhibit planning, Medical Education Grants, and Medical Education programs.
Two or four year degree required and/or equivalent project experience required.
Prior experience managing multi-faceted projects or programs. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-pace environment with multiple work streams at one time. Ability to prioritize, develop work plans, set timelines and execute successful outcomes.
Ability to operate with lean resources and function well independently as well as within a team.
Excellent organizational and decision making skills, as well as high quality written, verbal and listening skills are required.
Proactively seeks and recommends solutions to obstacles when they arise.
Strongly prefer experience in SAP, T&E and e-Buy, or a similar on line procurement tool. Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
Possess basic budgeting skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion required.
