The Pastoral Care Counselor provides patients and families spiritual and emotional support and guidance. He/She is responsible for the coordination and provision of spiritual care as indicated in each patient's Plan of Care.
Two years experience as a pastor or chaplain in a health c
are setting is preferred.
Master's Degree from accredited Seminary or School of Theology or related degree. A minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent experience preferred.
Must be highly motivated, energetic and work interdependently. Requires basic time management and organizational skills, strong interpersonal relationship skills, and must be supportive of organizational philosophy/policies. Possesses a valid and current driver’s license and automobile insurance. Must have reliable transportation.
