The Clinical Supervisor is accountable for directing daily operations of the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology Lab.
Supervises a multidisciplinary team providing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology procedures.
This includes managing the operational needs of the department in a cost-effective manner and contributing to the operation through the support of the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Assists in the acquisition of inventory and ensues accuracy in charge processes. This position includes planning, organizing, staffing, clinical processes and quality improvement initiatives, assisting with relevant policy and procedure development, participating in clinical education and competency, and supporting an environment that exceeds patient, staff and physician satisfaction.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health related field. Must have three years of clinical Cath / EP Lab related experience in all modalities and one year of experience in a Cath / EP Lab clinical leadership role. Requires certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) OR Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current critical care specialty certification OR certification by the American Association of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) AND certification specific to area of specialty. Current BLS and ACLS required.
