Heinz North America is seeking a dynamic professional to join our team in a Material Planner role within our Logistics Capabilities Team. This position is responsible for proactively working to optimize Raw Material Inventory at our Heinz owned factories. This is done by leading bi-weekly meetings with Procurement Operations and Factory Material Planners. Analyst will also ensure that S&OP tools, applications and processes are supporting the decisions of the S&OP organization. This role is centered on delivering service, cost, and inventory for Raw Material Inventory.
' Oversee all Raw Material Inventory for a certain subset of factories, by leading bi-weekly conversations with Procurement and the factories; conversations involve inventory levels, ABC analysis, and Raw Material Inventory Disposal Mitigation
' Maintain and improve existing Raw Material Reporting, while looking to develop new reports and data to optimize raw material inventory
' Drive increased usage of MRP Planning system to enable more accurate material requirements for factories and all Heinz suppliers.
' Develop Annual RMI Budgets for each factory, including both the AOP and subsequent QF financial commitments.
' Lead the rollout of the RMI review cycle in the Heinz Canada locations, in an effort to complete the North American Integrated Supply Chain.
' Identify opportunities for improvement in current RMI review process
' Key finance contact for raw material inventory risk; this includes already expired inventory, as well as inventory due to expire
' Develop SAP knowledge for Canadian factories, will look to become SAP expert to assist in United States SAP go live.
' Diagnose, correct and test technical problems with S&OP tools, applications and processes.
' Work with IT to diagnose, correct and test integration and/or data issues that may occur.
' Serve as project liaison between Procurement, Factory, and S&OP.

' Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related discipline
' Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team and be responsive
' Strong data analysis. Financial acumen and interpretation skills preferred
' Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, proficient in Access & PowerPoint
' Strong presentation skills and oral/written communication skills required
' Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
' Knowledge of database design and architecture a plus
' Ability to translate business requirements into model constraints and parameters
