JOB OVERVIEW - PROGRAMMER ANALYST
Must have knowledge of software development life cycle, database software, development software, interface protocols, code library management, operating and project management software and skills.
Participates in the investigation, user requirements gathering, systems analysis, documentation, coding and maintenance of assigned computer applications and processes.
Particular focus on client services, marketing, digital production, multimedia formats. Must be able to support all aspects of department and user reporting requirements for all assigned systems and applications. Analyzes, designs, and implements accurate, secure, and efficient logical and physical databases and coordinates database development in SQL Server 2005/2008 R2 by applying knowledge of database design standards.
Hiring Range: $56,300 - $67,000 DOE

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, data processing, information systems or related field or equivalent experience
Experience in report generation using Crystal Reports / Crystal Enterprise, preferred with SSRS
Experience administering, supporting and integrating vendor applications
Working knowledge of structured system development methodology specific to a distributed client-server environment
Experience reviewing and resolving trouble tickets associated with a wide variety of application software
Ability to work successfully under pressure in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
Ability to adapt effectively and quickly to change and deliver quality results in a timely manner
SQL Server experience required
Strong analytical skills required; ability to work independently when performing analytical/programming tasks i.e., design, code, document & troubleshoot software
Skilled at multi-tasking and ability to work effectively with members of the technical team and end users Experienced in producing code that is well documented along with the ability to produce and deliver documentation for internal department use and the end user reference
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 yr. university (Computer Science or related majors a plus); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
