The PLM Support Analyst will provide support and expertise in the area of TeamCenter PLM. Person will continue to improve technical expertise through the identification of new processes and technical alternatives.
This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive business relationships throughout their area of system support. This person will work with either internal or external design/implementation teams and work cross-functionally between the business and I.T. to resolve technical issues and provide technical expertise.
Overall project management of projects within his/her area of responsibility, implementation and testing of all new functionality/features
Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support to multiple Business Unit Global TeamCenter PLM System
Technical testing (bug fixes, upgrades and patches)
- General TeamCenter issues
- CAD integrations
- Change Management System
TeamCenter System Administration (user accounts, system maintenance, client installations)
Maintain Teamcenter knowledge base and work instructions
One-on-one and small group training and mentoring
Acts as a technical resource to users, customers and other team members
Provides production support and maintains existing systems by researching and troubleshooting any user-related problems
Keeps customers informed of progress and works to quickly and efficiently bring user issues to resolution
Responsible for providing functional and technical specifications, where applicable, for all development and work with development team members to successfully deliver development objects.
Create and maintain documentation necessary to ensure successful implementation and support of the PLM environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other related degree
5 years in TeamCenter PLM Administration and Support preferably in large scale enterprise projects.
2 years hands-on experience with TeamCenter Unified Architecture
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
Ability to provide technology solutions that meet the business needs while staying within budget and often rapid timeframes
Results oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability and desire to solve complex software problems
Strong customer management skills and ability to understand translate and define complex business requirements and recommend solutions based on those requirements
5 years experience working with Siemens PLM TeamCenter Engineering
2 years experience working with Siemens PLM TeamCenter Unified Architecture
Microsoft Office Suite
ITK development experience a plus
