The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a member of the Southern Conference, seeks applicants for a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The primary duty of this individual is administering the duties and functions of the speed, strength and conditioning program. The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for developing, scheduling, and implementing the speed, strength and conditioning programs that address the individual needs of the student-athletes and all athletic teams for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This individual must have extensive experience working with a highly competitive Division I basketball program in addition to a broad philosophical understanding regarding the development of a broad based speed, strength and conditioning program for the department.

The Head Strength Coach is responsible for hiring a staff of qualified assistants, who in collaboration with the head coaches will develop programming that addresses each teams needs. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operation of the speed, strength and conditioning program including maintenance, ordering of appropriate supplies, general maintenance of the weight room, scheduling of staff and strength and conditioning students and interns. This individual is required to maintain scheduled office hours to supervise all intercollegiate workouts. This includes maintenance of detailed records of lifting sessions performed by student-athletes in accordance with normal strength and conditioning program protocol.
