The Benefits Administrative Specialist provides administrative support in the Benefits Department by answering employee benefit questions, processing enrollment and termination paperwork, and coordinating coverage with service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions regarding benefits.
Notify new hires of benefit options by sending benefit packets. Process benefits enrollment for new employees and for annual open enrollment. Review enrollment and audit reports to ensure accuracy.
Assure compliance with COBRA guidelines by preparing letters and other paperwork as directed.
Coordinate the imaging and retention of employee elections and changes for compliance purposes.

Requirements:
1-2 Years Previous experience
High School Degree
Experience working in a high call volume environment
Mathematical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills and abilities
HRIS experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
