Position Definition: Supervises and coordinates activities of the Security Control Center and the security staff engaged in the protection of the company personnel and assets. Serves as the on-site security professional and security advisor to the client.

Essential Functions
*Handle significant security incidents/events/crises
*Respond to emergency situations and contact the proper authorities as needed
*Act as a liaison between local law enforcement agencies and client
*Implementing effective security awareness programs
*Leading site security officers to performance excellence
*Responding effectively and timely to security complaints and reports of security weaknesses; keep client apprised of all security issues
*Oversee all aspects of the Security Control Center
*Ensure comprehensive training of staff and employee compliance to company policies and practices
*Maintain weekly officers’ post schedules
*Initiating and maintaining accurate and nonbiased written security reports and records
*Stay knowledgeable of current security industry standards through education, liaison, networking and membership in professional security organizations such as ASIS International and the Board of Certified Fraud Examiners
*Evaluate and anticipate security needs
*Act as a security consultant for security related policy reviews with the client
*Supervise and coordinate any issues involving Key Control
*Oversee visitor and facility access, as needed
*Schedule employees and handle payroll data entry
*Effectively handle employee issues and concerns on site
*Report to the client's Security Director on a regular basis to provide updates on any security issues or procedural changes
*Exhibiting high ethical standards as an example to others
*Assist with special projects as assigned by the client
*Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
*High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
*Must be at least 21 years of age
*4-5 years of security and supervisory experience
*Must have basic computer knowledge – MS Office, e-mail systems, logistics systems, etc.
*Must have basic access control system knowledge (Lenel onGuard)
*Must have basic skills in RFID tracking system
*Experience in developing a team approach to protection of personnel and facilities
*Must be a U.S. Citizen
*Must be able to provide a local address and phone number
*Must have a valid state driver’s license
*Must be willing to submit to and pass drug screening and background check requirements
*Must be able to meet all state and/or local guard licensing requirements
*Must be neat, well groomed and present a professional appearance

*Completed Aviation Screening and ETD training prior to appointment-serve on in-house training officer
