The Department of Physical Therapy, School of Health Sciences at The University of South Dakota is accepting applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Physical Therapy. The position is for the twelve-month academic year. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the applicant's qualifications.

An earned doctorate is required (or candidates enrolled in a doctoral program may be considered). A doctoral degree and APTA Sports Clinical Specialist is preferred. Candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to have an active line of scholarly activity/research, and engage in clinical and service activities consistent with the Department's formal faculty expectations and scholarly productivity guidelines. The successful candidate must be qualified to lead growth in the program of sports physical therapy within a Division I Athletic Program, and will be expected to teach sports, orthopedic and musculoskeletal physical therapy content.
