The Random House Publishing Group is seeking Marketing Assistant. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Brand Marketing.
- Digital marketing campaign support such as managing social media platforms profiles for high-profile authors, coordinating digital ads and content for e-newsletters, setting up early reviewer promotions, updating content on the AtRandom website.
- Administrative tasks that include: researching/creating/tracking new lists, executing mailings in-house and from our warehouse, pulling and analyzing sales reports. Data entry including updating content on author websites and marketing plans in internal systems
- Special projects, as needed, including creation of flyers and sell sheets, presentations for author meetings, and coordinating special marketing/promotional events
The ideal candidate has a BA in marketing or a related field, as well as internship experience in a corporate marketing department. Candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Basic InDesign skills are preferred. This role requires strong communication, organization, exceptional attention to detail, enthusiasm, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
