Software Engineer
Siemens PLM Software - Waltham, MA
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain/enhance CAD system capabilities provided by CAD Abstraction Layer ( CAL)

Design and development of new CAD system capabilities required by VISTAGY’s applications

Support and maintain existing and new code

Minimum Requirements:
Experience with CATIA, NX, or ProE/Creo APIs

Strong background in C++/C

BS or MS in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge of Object Oriented Design ( OOD)

Strong math background

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent technical problem solving capabilities

Self-starter who can juggle a variety of different responsibilities

Experience developing CAD/geometric modeling applications

Knowledge of PERL or other scripting languages

Knowledge of XML and XSLT
