This position is critical to the success of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
Provides supports and consults on quality education based on learning needs to the employees of the Surgery / Surgical Services and Endoscopy units. Collaborates with management under the direct supervision of the Manager or Director of Education Administration on all phases of employee development. Requires a minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in area of expertise and BSN/BNA/BS degree, current AZ as RN or RTC for cardiopulmonary license. Current BLS Provider. ACLS required for educator if assigned to monitored areas. Current MCH educator - NRP or within 6 months of hire. Current Peds educator - PALS or within 6 months of hire. Master's degree, or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) including two (2) years teaching experience highly preferred.
