Responsible for the successful sales and delivery of company services to client(s). Has overall responsibility for management of a state contract(s) and related contracts to support the primary clients. Responsible for relationship management with stakeholders throughout the state, and for revenue generation and client satisfaction. Typically supports clients with a revenue base of $1M+.
Develops and manages budget and revenue expectations for entire state contract(s).
Serves as primary liaison for company and client, political stakeholders, provider and public policy associations, lobbyists, and partners.
Works with Operations staff to ensure key client deliverables and revenue goals are met.
Primary contact to resolve and satisfy all client requests and internal operational issues.
Identifies sources of revenue through use of sales and marketing skills. Leads sales efforts throughout the state.
Works with state clients and stakeholders to shape procurements and identify opportunities for value added services.
Leads procurement processes and RFP responses.
Introduces, negotiates, and implements new projects to expand scope of engagement.
Protects the business by monitoring competitor activity, legislative and regulatory initiatives, and agency concerns and contracts. Spearheads competitive and other actions as needed.
Develops and presents reports and other written communication to the client and internal staff.
Interacts with executives, supporting staff, state constituencies including legislators and governor's staff.
Meets or exceeds annual budget and plan goals.
Responsible for overall service delivery and client satisfaction.
