* Develop and execute a strategic operating plan to grow sales and grow the business to meet the Board of Directors’ financial objectives and lead the firm in consistently achieving these objectives through rigorous planning grounded in fact based market intelligence.
* Develop an operating culture across the firm which is disciplined, accountable and collaborative, focused on profitability and operational performance and accustomed to executing against annual objectives.
* Attract, develop, motivate and retain highly talented individuals and deploy them in an effective manner.
* Work closely with the Board and investors to ensure long-term success of the company. Keep the Board fully informed on all aspects of growth, profitability and development of the company and seek to utilize the expertise within the Board to address business issues facing the company.
*Successful, verifiable track record of improving the profitability and value of a firm or business unit in the senior-most P&L leadership position.
*Comprehensive experience with Medicare/Medicaid and healthcare distribution strongly desired.
*15+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
*Strong analytical skills and ability to interact well with a Board of Directors that is keenly focused on financial results.
*Track record of embracing Lean, Six Sigma and/or other continuous improvement methodologies.
*Experience in a private equity backed environment with an appreciation for the smaller company environment which tends to be fast and nimble as compared to a large corporation.
*Bachelor's degree is required. MBA from a top tier school and/or other certification are a significant plus.
*Self driven and motivated with a high degree of ownership and initiative.
*Desire to work in a fast paced, aggressive environment, working closely with a Board and Highland’s private equity operations team.

There will be a competitive salary and cash bonus opportunity based on achievements. Moreover, the Board’s compensation philosophy is centered on long term alignment of interests through the sharing in value creation via the Long Term Incentive Plan.
