Responsible for the development, communication, and administration of the Marketing Sales and Account Management Incentive Programs. Ensures accurate processing of monthly incentive payments for all sales and renewal activity. Produces corporate sales summary reports for all management. Also, assists in completing special projects related to Marketing Division needs.


Design, develop and support the sales and account management incentive database systems.
Test, maintain, and troubleshoot all system modifications.
Oversee the production of all incentive calculations and reports.
Perform targeted audits to verify incentive system accuracy.
Research issues and suggest changes in methodology, policy, and procedures for the incentive program with the goal of continuously improving the effectiveness of the program.
Act as the liaison between BCBST and sales representatives, account managers, and upper management. Requires continuous interaction to interpret, with consistency, the complexities that govern the Marketing Sales and Account Management Incentive Program.
Respect the confidential nature of all incentive related information and protect the interests of BCBST and program participants.
Complete ad hoc reporting requests based on account membership information from Facets (Data Warehouse) and/or external files using MS Office and QMF.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent business experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in running and maintaining a sales incentive system
Must have strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities, and initiative to work independently. Must exhibit sound judgement when administering the incentive program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel with the ability to develop and modify database programs and complex spreadsheets is required. Also, experience with a database querying tool such as QMF or Cognos is highly preferred.
Mainframe experience preferred.
Working knowledge of internal systems including Facets and DataWarehouse is preferred.
Must be well organized with emphasis on prioritizing workflow while meeting tight deadlines and performing with a high degree of accuracy.
Must possess flexibility and resourcefulness in order to effectively manage modifications to the incentive program.
Must have excellent human relations and communications skills (oral and written) in establishing relationships with representatives and management.
Must maintain high degree of professional integrity when dealing with highly confidential information.
