This position is responsible for the execution of BU-wide integrated planning and scheduling processes and procedures. The objectives of these processes are to satisfy the requirements of the Operations Excellence Planning & Scheduling Framework and to support achievement of the BU HSE and financial objectives. The position interfaces closely with all functional groups within the BU to gather planning and scheduling information such that activities across all four asset operating areas are scheduled and communicated as efficiently as possible. The Integrated Activities Technician must consolidate tactical work plans/schedules based on input from the various functional group planners for the various planning horizons. The position utilizes software planning and scheduling tools to publish the final plans and schedules for each horizon. The position also tracks the metrics input parameters and calculates the planning and scheduling metrics themselves. The Integrated Activities Technician reports to the Integrated Activities Coordinator within the Operations & Maintenance organization.
Responsibilities may include:
Supports a behavior based safety culture and HSE focus on all Opex and Capex activities.
Interfaces and coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, Implementation, and Projects teams to gather functional group schedules and consolidate them into a common Integrated Schedule.
Uses various planning and scheduling software programs to analyze data, build, modify, and update Integrated Schedules, to drive efficient operations
Coordinates, publishes and communicates the approved plans/schedules to the organization.
Tracks and maintains Integrated Planning metrics data.
Actively participate in SAP training programs and networking with peer groups to ensure consistent application of processes and standards.
Supports Integrated Activities Coordinator in developing and documenting planning and scheduling governance documentation and processes.
Legally authorized to work in the United States
3+ years experience in administrative or technical support role
Valid drivers license
Proficient (ability to perform the skill with limited assistance) in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Basic understanding of Planning and Scheduling principles and practices
1+ years experience with Systems Application and Products (SAP) or other related equipment management or computerized maintenance management system
1+ years of planning and scheduling experience
1+ years experience utilizing planning and scheduling software applications
1+ years experience utilizing database systems and the ability to manipulate and interpret data
Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of HSE Management Systems with a sincere passion for Safety Leadership and ability to demonstrate that passion on a daily basis
Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate a dynamic heavy work load in a potentially high stress, schedule driven environment, managing day-to-day and multiple interfaces at one time
Demonstrated ability to self-start and work alone with a high energy level
Experience and personal skills to be able to interface with a broad spectrum of individuals
Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and construction practices and trade skills associated with oil and gas production
