The project controls professional is responsible for performing project controls, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports. Duties also include developing and maintaining critical path schedules, reporting status, and developing schedule scenarios to present to the project team. Create and maintain generic schedules for use; Input and control resources on the project; Build various other reports including resource histograms, commodity curves, milestone reports. Position is also responsible for look-ahead schedules, earned man-hour reports, project percent complete and target schedules. Will coordinate with Project Managers and provide guidance and instruction to less experienced staff. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management from an accredited program. Minimum 5 years experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports.
Knowledge and understanding of general construction management processes: experience with engineering & construction projects (schedule management, submittals, RFIs, payments, daily reports, etc.).
Strong knowledge of P6 is required. Proficient computer skills.
While this position would be working mainly in the Oklahoma City office, travel is required to visit job sites. Potential of field assignments in other locations.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
