This position is a key member of the Medicare Part D Development team.. This position will be engaged in the development and delivery of technical tools to: -support projects related to health, pharmacy and financial analytics of the Medicare Part D business-extracts data from multiple data sources and creates integrated analytic datasets and tools by defining meaningful metrics to address business questions- understand and probe into technical details and data irregularities;This associate will: -conduct periodic updates of analytical routines and department production systems-investigate and evaluate alternative solutions to meeting business needs-document methods, specifications and findings clearly-contribute to writing and presentation of results, findings and conclusions-create and evaluate the data needs of projects and assures the data integrity-participate in the development of project plans and timelines-manage projects, people and customer expectations-develop test scenarios/plans, coordinate the user/system testing and quality assurance-be proficient at data reporting and data manipulation for analysis using: Microsoft T-SQL; SQL Server Integration Services; SQL Server Reporting Services; Microsoft Office suite- build systems and tools to track and report on data (transactional or warehoused)-perform other tasks as necessaryADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION-1-3 Years experience in Data Analysis / Application Development / Reporting required-Understanding of Medicare Part D data and Medical data a bonus-Knowledge of business process modeling techniques, data modeling techniques a bonus-Experience working with and creating OLAP cubes a bonus-Seeks opportunities to initiate and manage projects to improve existing processes delivering enhanced quality and efficiency.-Develop and maintain reporting, analysis, applications, audits to support general management functions
The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience. (Preferably in Computer Science or a related field)
