Please visit our website at . We are searching for Post Docs in Computational Chemistry for the Geochemistry Department at the Albuquerque facility. The salary is $83,100 per year. A benefit and relocation package is available. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.

Research in the areas of carbon sequestration (carbon dioxide, water, and mineral systems), ionic transport in electrochemical materials, and, in general, interfacial phenomena. The research primarily involves classical molecular dynamics simulation of structural, absorption, and transport properties, although familiarity with quantum methods is beneficial.

A Ph.D. (within the last five years) in materials science, chemistry, geochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline with experience in atomistic modeling is required. Relevant background in a Linux environment with scripting and scientific programming is desired.
