Town of Farragut Public Works Foreman The Town of Farragut is seeking applicants for the position of Public Works Foreman. This position performs as a supervisor over a public works crew responsible for roads, right-of-ways and drainage. Job tasks include responding to citizen's work requests, planning and scheduling the work for the crew, safely and effectively operating heavy trucks and equipment used in construction and maintenance of streets, etc. and construction activities such as concrete installation and carpentry.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience related assignments. Supervisor experience preferred. The selected candidate must have or must have the ability to obtain a commercial drivers license (CDL) upon hire. Entry level hourly rate is $16.44 plus 100% Town paid medical, dental, life, LTD, and retirement.
