The Marketing Arm has an immediate need in our Chicago office for a VP, Account Services/Sr. Account Director focusing on Sports , Entertainment and Consumer promotions . We are looking for a strategic and promotional thought leader with experience in connecting sports and entertainment fans to high profile brands in a way that drives business. Job includes management of a streamlined team of property and activation specialists who integrate with multiple agency partners to develop national and local promotions across the entire marketing mix.
Key Characteristics needed:
Strategic Leadership: work with planners to develop insights that can lead to ideas.
Brand Counsel: understand our Client's business and what problems we can help them solve
Team Mentor/Guidance: Guide all TMA efforts across sports, music, entertainment, talent and experiential marketing. Current team of 15 people
Client Relationships: Develop and cultivate senior level relationships
Financial Management: Responsible for TMA retainer development and team growth.
Concept Development: Support team during entire ideation process. Review creative briefs, participate in idea development, help to create the story and finalize the presentation materials
Integration Leader: Support TMA team as we serve as integrated lead across other agencies. Experience in working with other agencies to develop processes, roles and responsibilties.
MUST have 10-15+ years overall agency experience with direct Client Services experience
MUST have 7+ years direct Sports and/or Entertainment promotions/activations experience
Strong communication and presentation skills a MUST.
Ability to create your own presentations using PowerPoint, InDesign or Keynote.
Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree preferred
Willingness to travel
