Janssen Ortho LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a Contract Senior Sourcing Specialist, located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The position available is as a Contractor.

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will proactively identify and recruit top talent in a highly competitive employment marketplace. As a key member of the Puerto Rico Recruiting Team, you will have the opportunity to provide recruitment marketplace expertise to a dynamic and optimally decentralized client base representing the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices & diagnostics, and consumer products markets. In partnership with Recruitment peers, you will use your expertise to identify, evaluate, and manage proactive recruitment sourcing plans, position specific talent identification strategies, initiatives, and tactics including networking, internet job boards and social media, database mining, referrals, ad response, professional outreach, agencies and advanced recruiting techniques. You will also partner to manage the recruiting process from end-to-end. This includes but is not limited to: Developing job appropriate behavioral and competency based interview questions, coach hiring managers or teams on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques. Gather/compile/maintain/provide regular metrics for HR-related activities. Manage the data associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on applicants, the process and the final hiring decision is properly handled in a compliant and timely manner. Maintain all critical employment information systems (e.g., Taleo) to ensure data integrity and participate in projects that enhance the recruitment process and provide the organization a competitive advantage in the employment marketplace.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required; a Masters degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years experience in a high volume recruitment position are required. Preferably focused in one or more of the following functional areas: R&D, Finance, IT, Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Sales & Marketing. This individual must have a demonstrated capability in recruiting for a wide variety of exempt and non-exempt positions in multiple functional disciplines. Experience recruiting Manager and Director level positions is required. Successful track record of recruiting in Puerto Rico is required, with full understanding, interpretation and application of employment market trends. Experience recruiting within the Pharmaceutical, Parenterals, Biotechnology, Medical Device or Consumer Products industries is required. Experience recruiting positions with regional or global scope is preferred. Experience in executive search firm and/or corporate recruiting is required. Experience managing communications and set up of ads in job boards and use of social media tools to attract passive candidates. Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication (oral & written), presentation skills, customer service, consulting skills and organization skills are required. Bilingual candidate is required (English / Spanish). Big picture orientation with attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information are required. Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR recruiting processes and practices (i.e., compensation, EEO laws, interviewing skills, sourcing strategies, etcetera) required. High standards of ethical behavior are required. Experience using applicant-tracking systems is required. Must be a team player with the ability to handle a high volume of open positions in a fast-paced environment, successfully navigate through a highly complex and decentralized environment, and have demonstrated ability to manage complexity and exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations. Targeted Selection/Behavioral based interviewing experience is highly desired. Computer literate & proficient in utilization of office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required. There will require about 20% travel to other locations on the Island and meetings in the U.S. in support of the business.
