This is a GG-11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

Air Force Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Agency (AFISRA), Lackland AFB, Texas
The primary purpose of this position is to provide sensitive compartmented information (SCI), special programs, collateral, and general security support and direction to a variety of functions in direct support of the AFISRA global mission.
Assists the Programs Control Branch Team Leader on compartmented programs
(those highly classified and extremely sensitive programs which require close and accountable control of access to program material, as well as close and accountable control of the personnel who have access to the material).
Supports the security, control, use, and dissemination of TK, GASMMA, and HCS material, and related security education programs. Supports PKI/NSANet certification actions dealing with counterintelligence (CI) polygraphs for the Service Cryptologic Element (SCE).
Maintains liaison with local telecommunications centers and automated information system facilities to ensure protection of specific electronic transmissions are maintained in established security channels.
Participates in interagency and interdepartmental national-level conferences, working groups, committees, and panels as advised by team leader. Functions as the alternate HQ AFISRA/SO Top Secret Control Officer (TCO). Incumbent is required to perform other duties as determined by supervisor or team leader.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, the specialized experience must have been at the GG-09 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service. Examples of creditable specialized experience include: Knowledge of DoD and USAF SCI regulations, especially in reference to compartmentation of classified material. Knowledge is required in order to formulate AFISRA command policy for operating in the SCI environment. Knowledge of management practices, all-source operational techniques, USAF/AFISRA planning and programming systems, organizational and functional concepts, national intelligence objectives, principles, of collection, processing, reporting and management as related to compartmented programs, and basic principles of data processing.
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Employee must be able to acquire and retain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI access in order to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Employee must be able to pass initial and continued random drug testing.
Position requires occasional temporary duty travel using any or all modes of transportation, both commercial and military.
Work is primarily sedentary, performed in an office setting.
Work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
