Job Description: Plans, initiates, coordinates, implements and oversees clinical trials in the Network Office of Research & Innovation. Must possess leadership skills in order to serve as a mentor to other research staff members to ensure proper conduct of clinical protocols in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Must be flexible to meet priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must display dedication, enthusiasm, commitment, confidentiality, and flexibility with cross-coverage of sites and on-call hours. Will be working with Oncology patients.

Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse. Graduate of an RN program from an accredited school of nursing with current Pennsylvania licensure required. Certification in Clinical Research Coordination. Must obtain certification after 2 years of experience in clinical research coordination. Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in a patient care setting. Ability to mentor other research staff members in the conduct of clinical research trials and regulatory complaince. Must be a self-motivator to ensure timely implementation of research protocols and successful outcomes while overseeing duties of CRC I. Exceptional interpersonal skills required to be able to work in a dynamic team environment and coordinate activities among multiple hospital departments and personnel, physician offices, industry sponsors and regulatory bodies.

Influenza vaccination will be required for all personnel working within LVHN, who have patient contact, unless medically contraindicated or due to a bonafide religious belief or practice.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science.
