A New York City progressive advocacy group is looking for a designer for a short term project designing a 20-25 page report about important economic justice issues in the City. The report will accompany a one-day conference/event in January. We are looking for a designer who can create a compelling logo/brand for the conference over the coming week and can then design and lay out the report over the final two weeks of December in time to send it to the printer in early January. We will provide all of the text, photographs, statistics, and stories for the report; we’ll need you to help us present it in an energizing and interesting way. There won’t be many restrictions or limitations on your work, although you’ll need to figure out a way to incorporate a few supporting organizations’ logos into some of the material. We’ll want to get some options/ideas from you early in the process so we can approve a basic theme and then we’ll need excellent communication to ensure that the project is done in time.

Please send a few examples of your work, a few references, and an estimate of your fee to adybarkan@gmail.com. Our budget is approximately $1000.
