The Exception Clerk oversees activities to include gathering and documenting department/employee errors, updating quality assurance best practices, and evaluation and documentation of quality processes and work flows. The Exception Clerk will be expected to communicate and interact with all departments and become an expert in the functionality of each department enxuring that the quality is being provided to the customer. Document department/employee errors. Providing a customer focused attitude and understanding of quality customer service practice. Assiting with developing improvements to team processes and procedures. Maintains work logs and completes daily production reports and other reports as requested by the Warehouse Manager. Mentor and train team members or coworkers as required maximizing workplace efficiency. Identifies employees that need to be re-trained and interact with those department supervisors. Works through Management to communicate quality procedures. Informs management of changes necessary to ensure objectives are met.
High School Diploma and one to three years experience or training. Calculation skills, RF skills and Exeter & SOP knowledge. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s and perform these operations using unites of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk, hear; frequently required to sit; and occasionally required to read with hands and arms. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
