Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced business analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to manage the gathering, validation, and decomposition of client business rules for loading into a Curam Business Rules Engine (BRE). The BRE will contain the business rules for an enterprise level system development effort. The position is located in Providence, RI. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health IT, Health and Human Services operating unit, an organization that serves the IT needs of state and local governments.

The selected candidate will assist with the extraction of business rules from the requirements definition and analysis efforts and then translate the business logic to a format that can be loaded into the BRE.

This position is responsible for the initial definition, loading, testing and implementation of all application business rules.

This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degrees in information technology or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in business analysis for information systems
  • Experience with Business Rules Engines
  • Java development expertise
  • Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project staff, project management, and customers to solve complex issues
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of systems design and development processes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Curam business rules.
  • Experience with and knowledge of human services programs
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of systems design and development processes
  • Business analysis certification
