Statement of Purpose/Summary of Major Essential Functions: Performs diagnostic procedures including EKG, Holter, and Basic Stress Testing in accordance with physician orders. Maintains knowledge of all cardiopulmonary operations and policies and procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate with High School Diploma or GED. EMT or completion of an approved Monitor Technician Program.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in performing diagnostic procedures in an acute care setting (i.e. EKG, Holter and Basic Stress Testing).
Licensure/Certification Requirements: BLS & Basic EKG Interpretation Class
