Fitbit is seeking a senior-level visual UI designer to support our mobile development efforts as we grow nationally and internationally. This position works closely with our in-house team of product managers, interaction designers and engineering staff. This critical role is part of Product Design Team. Qualified candidates will be highly experienced visual designers and also comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines and experience with mobile UI/UX design.
Specific Skills: Proven ability in graphic design for iOS and android, typography, and illustration, preferably with experience in consumer goods and services. Proven ability to apply a brand°s look and feel across web and mobile. Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite 4 or higher, specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Bachelor ’s degree or equivalent.
Excellent organization/prioritization skills for working effectively with tight deadlines. Excellent written/verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting and interacting with CEO and executive level management. Dynamic portfolio of work relevant to this position. Basic technical compentence, some experience with CSS, HTML, Javascript, etc.

You will: Create concepts and detailed layouts incorporating illustration, photography, type, and other design elements to meet visual needs that: Are engaging and eye-catching Create a seamless mpbile experience of hardware interacting with software Are highly appealing to consumers Provide a unique, fresh design approach Are consistent with Fitbit°s visual identity Help explain and visualize a concept or idea Serves as a mobile design expert on the design team and at Fitbit, shaping our future mobile strategy and design. Actively collaborate with creative team colleagues in constructive exchanges that deliver best-in-class results. Actively collaborate with stakeholders from multiple teams: Engineering, Mobile, Sales " Marketing, Online Product, Hardware, etc.
