Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
The SCCM Systems Administrator provides technical support and guidance for the execution and delivery of end user service initiatives, projects and tier 3 production support.. This position works with other Information Services teams and business clients to integrate enterprise client software and hardware solutions. Required Qualifications:
1. Maintenance and operations of the enterprise software application deployment and application packaging infrastructure 2. Lead desktop technology projects including client application integration and enterprise technology rollouts 3. Lead the application lifecycle management process including customization, packaging, quality assurance, deployment preparation and maintenance of client software including MSI and virtual applications; Manage and support software application deployment, packaging process, tools and problem resolution efforts 4. Maintain and sustain the application lifecycle according to industry best practice; 5. Explore new opportunities that add to the business value proposition or reduce costs 6. Consult with Technology Architecture and Planning to evaluate and recommend overall technical solutions and engineer how specific technologies, standards, methods and techniques are to be implemented 7. Execute technology evaluations; create technical presentations and submit reports for publication or presentation to IS management and business clients 8. Lead and monitor resolution of complex third level technical support incidents 24 x 7 in compliance with service levels 9. Work with business clients to analyze and recommend advanced technology solutions Preferred Qualifications:
1. 4-5 years of progressive technical experience in engineering, integration and support of Desktop technologies including Hardware, Software, Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCM in a large enterprise environment 2. 4-5 years of advanced knowledge of Microsoft SCCM knowledge including application virtualization technology 3. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows 7, XP, Server 2008, SQL 2008 and working knowledge of Unix, Linux and Mac OS. 4. Experienced in scripting language (i.e., Visual Basic, Power Shell, C++) 5. Solid understanding of Desktop Imaging, User Personalization, software architecture and network design principles 6. Proficient in technical troubleshooting, including Tier 3 support and root cause analysis of end user environment 7. Demonstrated project management experience including large-scale or enterprise deployments 8. Proven competence in business, information, application, and technology components of enterprise architecture 9. Strong leadership, facilitation and consensus building skills 10. Ability to understand and relate product technology, strategy and direction with business needs 11. Polished organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently 12. Excellent oral/written communication and listening skills; Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork and negotiation Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience Business Overview:
