Business Unit Overview
ComEd and its nearly 6,000 employees are responsible for maintaining more than 78,000 miles of power lines that make up the electric transmission and distribution system in Northern Illinois. ComEd also provides customer operations for more than 3.7 million customers across the region, or 70 percent of the state's population.
Locations in Northern Illinois including Chicago and surrounding suburbs
Majors desired: Masters student studying Electrical Engineering, emphasis on Power Systems.
- Engineering Power Systems: Selected individual will work with other engineers running power flow studies, identifying system reinforcement projects, and writing a final report on their finding.
Location: Oakbrook, IL
Our summer internship program runs June - August 2012 as an hourly paid student intern, hourly rate is determined by year in school and major.
Appropriate GPA in major and overall GPA for current school program
Candidates locally based to our offices who can commute on a daily basis
