DESCRIPTION

Provide Organizational and Human Resource direction to the AmeriBen/IEC's staff including plans, develops, implements and administers HR, leadership development, mentoring, career succession and related programs for all company's employees.

DUTIES

Key Result Areas

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Protects and enhances the organization's culture by furthering the usage of such features as core purpose, core values, core focuses, the Decision Tree, operating philosophy, Rights and Responsibilities, Transcendental Happiness wheel, and other organizational cultural elements.
  • Acts as the organizational development liaison and consultant to the management team and to staff.
  • Responsible for development and integration of human resource, leadership, mentoring, career succession and related programs/projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.
  • Consults with management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters including providing consultative services to the business units regarding short- and long-term planning for organizational development and human resources programs.
  • Manage the individual development planning process for executives and emerging leaders.
  • Prepare budgetary recommendations that meet departmental goals and provide for effective management of resources.
  • Conducts needs assessments to determine program and training needs to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
  • Evaluate strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.
  • Assists with planning, implementation, and on-going maintenance and compliance of labor relations, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, diversity, retention and compensation programs.
  • Manage high level employee relations issues including conducting investigations when appropriate.
  • Manage benefits and compensation programs for the company.
  • Manage the HR Coordinator and HR Business Partner including mentoring, development, coaching, and counseling and performance assessment.
  • Maintain professional skill and knowledge level on an on-going basis.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent in organizational and/or leadership development.
  • Minimum 6 years in organizational development, training, and/or Human Resources experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and apply people strategy to business strategy and an enterprise-wide strategy.
  • Excellent change management skills required.
  • Ability to make formal presentations on a variety of work-related topics on a regular basis required.
  • Operations and budgeting experience strongly preferred.
  • Strategic planning, complex problem resolution and general management expertise required.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Ability to use judgment and discretion in a business environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the Essential Key Result Areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
