Recruit Veterans is currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician for one of our client sites in Manchester NH Position Description The position of Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for maintaining the build cycle of Optical Electrical and Mechanical products The build cycle responsibilities include but are not limited to inspection kitting assembly test and all associated documentation MAJOR DUTIES Operational bull Perform assembly of products consistent with stateoftheart military and aerospace standards for electronic optical and mechanical devices bull Provide input for process procedure and product improvements prior to and during the production build cycle bull Ensure processes and procedures are consistent with Work Order and Travelers that are being used bull Ensure Quality (including ISO SOP and other processes) procedures and data bases are followed bull Maintain job inventory and inventory kits and control of kit distribution for assigned projects bull Maintain test data product reports and returned merchandise documentation Incident Management bull Generate andor utilize documents consistent with OASYS ISO procedures and policies bull NCMR&rsquos (Non Conforming Material Reports) will consist of generating records and working with Quality and Engineering to expedite the disposition process bull Provide input to Preventative and Corrective Action reports Physical Demands bull Lifting objects on the order of 20 pounds will be required on a recurring basis Skills Required Has experiance working in a high tech aerospace and defence manufacturing environment Strong Mechanical Aptitude has fine dexterity skills to handle small components hardware and hand tools required to manage small hardware Can comprehend written instruction Can undertstand assembly drawing Works well with a team as well as alone Skills Preferred OptoMechanical assembly skill ElectroOptic Manufacturing skills Computer Skills ESD Safetyhandling training Solder certified in thru hole and terminal Trained in Optics handling and cleaning Experience Required 1 year minimum in an aerospace and defence manufacturing environment Experience Preferred 1 year minimum in an electronics assembly and optical assembly environment Education Required High School Diploma or equivalent Education Preferred High School Diploma Citizenship Required Must be a US Citizen Equal Employment Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer Recruit Veterans is fully committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting retaining developing and promoting the most qualified employees without regard to their race gender color religion sexual orientation national origin age physical or mental disability citizenship status veteran status or any other characteristic prohibited by state or local law We are dedicated to providing a work environment free from discrimination and harassment and where employees are treated with respect and dignity When a conflict occurs the company promptly addresses the matter Should any employee feel that they have been unfairly treated they should immediately report the matter to any member of the Recruit Veterans leadership team
