Job Description
Schedule: Three 8-hour shifts per week. Evening Shift: 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. 1 of 2 weekends.

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the appropriate setting across the continuum of care. Communicates with nursing and physicians about changes in patient’s condition, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatolgy. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team that coordinates continuity of care in a financially responsible manner. Can perform general respiratory therapy duties in all patient care areas with adequate supervision.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be registered through the NBRC within two years from date of employment. One year clinical experience preferred.

Other Qualifications:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Computer skills in Microsoft Word. Ability to use BiPap/Cpap, IPPB, and EKG equipment. Decision making, problem solving and team work.

License or Certification:
Active WI RRT license or ability to practice professional respiratory therapy in the State of Wisconsin.

Current BLS certification.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.20 per hour.
