The role

: Business Analyst, Alternatives Platform.

The BA will be responsible to elicit and document requirements and or Epics and Stories projects across the Alternatives Platform (Hedge Fund, Private Equity & Real Estate Administration services)

Elicit and document effective business requirements

Elicit and construct Epics deconstruct Epics into Stories

Work within a dynamic, fast paced Agile team structure

Serve as primary liaison with technology, representing business needs and confirming technology's understanding.

Where required, provide verbal business analysis updates in internal/external steering committees

Proactively identify and drive process re-engineering in the business analysis environment

Define and manage each business analyst's objectives

Form effective working relationships with Project sponsors, stakeholders and participants from Product, Technology and Operations.

Based in NYC, the role may have some limited travel within the US


2 to 5 years BA experience

Experience in working in Projects with both the Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Experience in Hedge Funds Services (Administration services including middle office, accounting, TA, Reporting)

Experience in Private Equity & Real Estate Administration Services.

Well organized, detailed and solution oriented

Logical and works well under pressure

Demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex requirements

Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
