SUMMARY OF DUTIES: If applicants desire, a copy of the Position Description (PD) can be obtained from the HRO. A brief statement of duties from PD No. _D1657P01___ . This position is located in an intelligence unit. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a Special Security Representative (SSR) in a Special Security Office (SSO). Performs the day-to-day operational duties within the Special Security Office (SSO) in support of all SCI-associated security programs and measures. Provides detailed research and analysis on physical, information, computer, and personnel security. This position requires a comprehensive working knowledge of intelligence support operations, procedures, and practices.
This position requires military membership. It is designated for Air National Guard enlisted incumbency only. Incumbent performs duties necessary to accomplish intelligence functions in support of programs essential to state Air National Guard daily operations, training, and readiness missions. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BASIC ELIGIBILITY FACTORS: Document prior experience, education, and training relating to the General and Specialized Experience requirements . KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY (KSAs) are no longer basic eligibility factors, but will be used as rating and ranking factors.

1. Knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices.
2. Ability in independently analyzing and resolving difficult and complex security problems.
3. Ability to develop guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment and methods to a variety of work situations and various levels or degrees of security controls.
4. Ability in preparing and presenting formal/informal briefings to various military and governmental agencies.
5. Knowledge of the Montana Air National Guard organization and mission.
6. Skill in researching and compiling intelligence information to be disseminated.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Applicant must possess the experience or training which has provided you the skill in:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess 24 months experience, education, or training in
- analytical, decision making, or administrative skills which demonstrates your ability to accomplish the work of an organization. This experience must demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and successfully with others.
- Planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling base and law enforcement activities.
- Experience providing training in areas related to this position.
- Experience analyzing reports of investigations and maintaining security records.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT : Selectee is subject to attaining and maintaining a security clearance as required by the position.
