The Loss Prevention Supervisor (LPS) is responsible for 20 to 35 drugstores and reports directly to a Loss Prevention Manager. The professional LPS works as a team member with the District Manager, District Pharmacy Supervisor and District Training Supervisors.
Conduct detailed investigations requiring specific skill sets in the loss of merchandise, money, or property incurred through employee or non-employee misconduct and the misuse of company property
Apply expert interviewing techniques to gain knowledge of pertinent facts while conducting detailed investigations involving sexual harassment complaints, fair employment practice violations and use of prescription and illicit drugs in the workplace
Conduct individual and group training for employees to ensure awareness of Walgreen policies on sexual harassment, job discrimination, and workplace violence
Conduct management orientation of company policies, safety and security programs, harassment training, fuel card usage and open/close reports
Develop and implement new audit and control procedures for assigned areas by consulting with Operations, Audit and Compliance departments; provide training and guidance with respect to audit results
Design, recommend and implement physical security solutions for assigned areas.
Conduct physical security site surveys for new acquisitions to evaluate and recommend CCTV needs, obtain budget approvals, coordinate purchase and installation of equipment; ensure adequate burglar system coverage with subsequent transition to Walgreen systems; evaluate card access systems and coordinate installation where appropriate; coordinate activities with Asset Protection physical security area as needed
Research and recommend new ways to identify losses in assigned areas and help with implementation
Establish and maintain liaison with local law enforcement officials and industry counterparts

Bachelors degree preferred,
Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid Certified a plus
A minimum of 5 year's multi-store, chain store Loss Prevention or equivalent experience preferred
Drugstore LP experience preferred.
LPQ Certification a plus.
Overnight travel may be required.
Company car is provided.
LPQ-LPC Certification preferred.
