Superior Technical Resources is looking for a Sr. WebSphere J2EE Administrator for our Client located in Atlanta, GA

  • Ability to Align IT with Business Strategies and Requirements through Agile Product Development Life-Cycle
  • Portal-6.0.x and 6.1.x, WebSphere App Server 6.0.x and 7.0.x, WebSphere Process Server 6.0.x and 7.0.x
  • Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) - Web Authorization & Authentication Technologies (Preferably IBM Tivoli Identity Manager & Tivoli Access Manager - LDAP)
  • Understanding of UNIX OS Virtualization Technologies - Preferably IBM AIX LPAR and WPAR
  • Understanding of Network Architecture & Network Security Concepts a Plus (TCP/IP, Cisco Load-Balancers, DMZ, Firewalls, etc)
  • Understanding of Storage Architecture Concepts a Plus (SAN, NAS, NFS, etc)
  • Understanding of Software Configuration Management Concepts a Plus (Rational Tools Suite - Clear-Case, CVS, etc)

Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in following

Experience in Architecting & Implementing Large Scale Mission-Critical Enterprise Applications

Experience in Migrating Legacy Applications to J2EE Using Oracle Database Backend

Experience in J2EE Application Sizing & Performance Tuning Methodologies

Experience with HTTP Servers - Preferably IBM HTTP Server or Apache I-H-S v6.0.x and 7.0.x

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with IBM’s Tivoli Composite Application Monitoring & Administration (IT-Cam)

Experience Deploying and Managing WebSphere Clusters with DMGR

Familiarity with UNIX Mid-Range Hardware Platforms - Preferably IBM P5, P6, P7 Architecture

Project Life Cycle and Documentation Skills

Good Communications Skills

Websphere, and/or Tivoli Certifications

Strong Experience with J2EE Architecture Implementation & Administration - Preferably IBM WebSphere Implementation

Strong Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Implementation (XML, JMS, Web Services, etc)
