BASIC FUNCTION: Primary responsibility is providing excellent customer service in a call center environment for our external customers, the field and home office employees. Other responsibilities include problem resolution for annuity/life/income products. Educate and explain product features, service inquiries, general maintenance, and general tax information. Perform history analysis and process investment trades. Create distribution and other service related forms. Independently responsible for personal research and analysis as part of case work management using resources and guidance of others to resolve cases. The incumbent is expected to participate in unit committee/projects and/or process improvement opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must successfully complete and pass any required testing . This position has been classified as a Registered Representative under NMIS guidelines and requires fingerprinting. This position has been classified as MSA Access which is subject to the Personal Trading Policy and the employee will be required to maintain any brokerage accounts with one of MSA’s approved brokers. Associates degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Series 6 and 63 required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Minimum of 2 years related work experience to include at least 1 year of previous customer service experience. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Solid customer service skills. Proven analytical skills and ability to apply judgment and discretion. Demonstrated computer experience with solid keyboarding skills and proficiency with current software packages.
