We have two openings for a Solutions Architect in the Washington, DC area. The candidate must have Oracle eBusiness Suite expertise, preferably within the Federal Government, as well as, hands on experience of Oracle Order to Cash modules in the Federal Sector. The candidate will be providing software configuration expertise in the implementations of the Oracle eBusiness Suite.
Ideal candidate will have experience in:
Oracle eBusiness Suite (Order Management, Inventory, Projects/Receivables, Project billing/costing, /shipping) Projects integrations with other Oracle modules such as Fed Admin, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchase Order OUM Methodologies Testing Methodologies Documentation Management Development and Execution of Corrective Actions Creating RICEW functional and technical designs – should be able to work on these independently with minimum supervision Client relations
As a MBC consultant, you will participate as part of a team of technical experts and must be able to engage in the following activities:
Work with the business process functional users and stakeholders to develop an enterprise-wide Security Cooperation Enterprise System.
Execute the approach developed to deliver all documentation necessary in creation of RICEW functional and technical designs Manage and facilitate a diverse group of stakeholders across Foreign Military Sales as well as Financial Management, Logistics and Acquisition communities
Independently develop approaches to address business challenges and tight completion timelines Consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations
Bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes
Work with the Foreign Military Sales Security Assistance stakeholders to develop and execute all activity necessary to review procedure manuals, document business/systems processes, test for compliance with applicable Air Force Security Assistance policies and procedures and laws and regulations, and assess the adequacy of internal controls
Independently obtain and synthesize information from a variety of sources using such tools manuals, regulations, Air Force Accounting, Pay, Logistics, and Acquisition legacy systems
Analyze/Document current business processes Develop briefings and communicate risks, accomplishments, and status of progress made towards the accomplishment of assigned tasks
Control, monitor, and assess an organization's information technology and business systems
Provide limited supervision through motivation, mentoring, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasks.
Position-specific Required Skills:
Experience in software configuration life-cycle.
Experience in Oracle R12 Experience in full life-cycle Oracle eBusiness implementation
Experience in configuration of Oracle order-to-cash modules: Order Management, Inventory, Projects/Receivables, Project billing/costing, /shipping Experience with Federal government clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with integrated product/process teams required
Experience in assessing internal control weaknesses associated with business processes and related systems
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems (Master’s preferred) and 8+ years of work related experience or a combination of both. Proficiency with the Web, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and SharePoint) Business travel as required by contract – 10% Expert functional and technical skills as required by contract Knowledgeable of engagement or project planning and control process Seeks and contributes expertise / insight into practice area to other members of the practice team and MBC Demonstrates knowledge of Industry and Solutions Supports development of formalized solution methodologies Ability to author white papers to further the insight and thought leadership within the solution area, as requested.
