Oracle Applications DBA FTE, Salary, Benefits Purpose of Position: Hitachi Consulting?s Oracle practice is currently experiencing significant growth and we are actively recruiting strategic thinking, entrepreneurial, and energetic candidates to perform as proven leaders in our Market Location. Key Tasks The primary responsibilities of the Oracle Applications DBA include:
Support production, development, and test Oracle ERP Suite Instances and other Oracle applications (Siebel, JD Edwards, Fusion Middleware)
Administer and manage all Oracle ERP Suite components
Support and implement enhancements to Oracle ERP Suite cloning procedures
Research, plan, implement and document procedures for applying patches, upgrades, and installations of Oracle E-Business Suite modules as well as the Oracle Applications Technology Stack
Performance tune, monitor, and troubleshoot all components of Oracle Enterprise Application and Technology architecture as well as operating systems (Linux, UNIX) and storage subsystems
Assist with the implementation of architecture solutions for the Oracle ERP Suite environment in order to support business objectives
Implement and document backup and recovery procedures for the Oracle systems
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers
