Union College, in Barbourville, Kentucky is accepting resumes for the position of Clinical Coordinator in the Athletic Training Education Program. The Coordinator plans, organizes, staffs and directs student-athlete care on a daily operational basis, and assists the program director with daily operations and classroom instruction. The Clinical Coordinator is a full-time, 9-month faculty appointment at the assistant or associate rank. Duties and Responsibilities: * Classroom instruction within the Athletic Training Education Program.
Set and monitor Athletic Training students' clinical rotations and experiences. * Purchase and inventory clinical supplies. * Serve as clinical liaison with Union College and its affiliations. * Monitor staff adherence to established policies and procedures.
Educate and counsel coaching staff, student-athletes, graduate assistants, athletic training students and co-workers. * Conduct performance evaluations for athletic training students. * Maintain continuing education units required by the NATA. * Other duties as assigned by the director of sports medicine.
Student advising, committee work, participation in departmental and college service activities, and involvement in professional development activities. * Knowledge and use of classroom technology is expected
