Lewis & Fowler, a management consulting firm, celebrating our 10th year as leading consultancy in Denver, Colorado is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager - IT PMO.


Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a designated project within the PMO to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, project-team, and line management. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line manages and clients.

Responsible, directly and through subordinates, for managing all activities associated with moderate to complex IT and PMO projects. Functions include: directing project staff; working with multiple groups to identify requirements, develop project plans and strategies, prepare business cases and assign tasks; planning and estimating tasks and timelines; influencing and negotiating with staff and management; conducting meetings; ensuring project control; employing creative problem solving to generate solutions and directions; interfacing with users to define needs and issues; handling budget/forecasting, as needed; identifying, developing, and implementing policies/procedures/controls within scope of project to optimize results while ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
